How do I buy patio furniture with Velago?
1. Choose your outdoor furniture product and place it in your Shopping Cart.
2. Go to Checkout and complete your contact and shipping information.
3. Select the payment method: Paypal or credit card for secure processing.
4. We will send you an order confirmation via email and contact you to agree on a delivery time.
Is it possible to see and try out Velago all-weather wicker furniture?
Velago is an online retailer, it is therefore not possible to try out products, in general. However, you have the right to return our wicker furniture sets, lounge chairs and patio umbrellas within 14 days of delivery free of charge, should they not be what you expected. We will fully reimburse your payment including delivery charges. You are responsible for returning the product in original packaging.
Which payment options do I have?
For a smooth payment process, we offer payment through the main credit card companies as well as through paypal. Please let us know if you encounter problems with your online payment. Our customer service will be happy to assist you.
What is all-weather resin wicker?
The all-weather resin wicker used for Velago Patio Furniture products is a weave made from polyethylene fibres, aka poly-rattan, developed to last despite exposure to the elements. Resin wicker is water, frost and UV-resistant, so our patio furniture can be outside all year round. Our all-weather wicker is textured and multi-coloured to closely match the natural look and feel of traditional wicker furniture.
Which materials are used for the frames of the outdoor furniture?
Velago uses powder coated aluminum for its furniture frames. Aluminum provides for high stability keeping the patio product light weight, so it can conveniently be moved around. Moreover, aluminum is rust-free and therefore very long lasting. Aluminum is 100% recyclable.

What are the cushions like?
The cushions of our wicker furniture are made from high density foam. Consequently, they are nice and firm for long lasting seating comfort. The cushion covers are made from durable fabrics with a water repellent coating. However, they are not waterproof. We recommend putting them away when not in use.
Where are Velago outdoor furniture products manufactured?
Like most other patio furniture, our products are made in China. There is nothing wrong with that. Velago only uses trusted manufacturers that continuously produce highest quality non-defective outdoor products with the best materials.
How can I clean my patio set?
To loosen dirt from the wicker, you may use a soft brush. Loose dirt can be vacuumed off. You may also wipe the patio set with a damp cloth or even hose it down.
We recommend covering the set when not in use for a longer period, in order to prevent dirt from collecting on the wicker.
How do I take care of the cushions?
Our cushion covers are treated with a water repellant coating. Spilled liquids can be easily wiped off.
We recommend removing and storing the cushions in a dry place when not in use. By doing so you can preserve the coating and extend the life span of your cushion covers. The covers are machine washable on cold.
Exposure to sun and rain will break down the coating over time. The same is true for washing the cushion covers. Water repellent coating can be re-applied. There is a variety of products out there, often sold by boating stores or marines, which can be sprayed onto the covers.
How can I secure my outdoor umbrella?
Our umbrellas come with a cross base, which allows you two ways of holding it in place. We recommend using paver stones, aka patio stones, or umbrella tiles to hold the patio umbrella in place. Big hardware stores sell them. On wooden decks, you may also secure your outdoor umbrella using appropriate size screws.
Will the patio umbrella hold up in strong wind?
If you live in an area with strong wind, sand bags in addition to the patio stones may be used to hold the umbrella in place. We strongly recommend folding the umbrella away when not in use, since strong winds increase the wear and tear on your umbrella and in extreme circumstances might even damage the product.
During which hours does Velago deliver?
Our delivery service operates on weekdays only, generally between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We try our best to closely match your desired date and time of delivery. The products will be delivered to the curbside.
Can I pick up my products from the warehouse?
We do not currently offer pick-up service. However, our delivery rates are very reasonable.
What is included in the product warranty?
Velago’s limited warranty includes production defects and the use of defective materials in production. If you have received a damaged or defective product, please call or email our customer service immediately.
We will ask you to take digital photos of the defect and email them to us, so we can better understand what the issue is. We will undertake the reasonable efforts to replace a defective or damaged product.
